About Not Wasted
Did you know that one third of all food produced never ends up on your plate? It is wasted. Such a shame, right?
At Not Wasted, we do things differently. We create tasty, sustainable and affordable food from products that would normally be wasted because they were not consumer ready.
Side stream products and ingredients from the factory and farm are turned into delicious food. Also, we rescue products that may have wrong packaging or that simply don’t meet strict brand specifications.

Meet the makers
We’re Ivar and Susan, the founders of Not Wasted. After years in the commercial world, we felt a growing need to use our experience for something with real impact. We saw how much good food is thrown away every day and we decided we didn’t want to just watch it happen.
So we started Not Wasted. With rescued ingredients and products, a love for great taste, and a mission to fight food waste, we’re proving that doing good for the planet can be simple, delicious and meaningful.
